EVAN KNAPP-FISHER

Co-Founder

Evan Knapp-Fisher graduated in 2017 from Queen's University with a Honours Bachelors in Physical and Health and Education. While during his undergrad, he participated in the athletic therapy mini stream and worked with the Queen's mens football team and mens hockey team as well as the RMC mens hockey teams for 3 years. After graduation, he attended Sheridan College to attain his Bachelors of Applied Health Sciences (Athletic Therapy). He is finishing up is final year at Sheridan and concurrently taking his massage therapy certification through the Ontario College of Health and Technology. He currently is a R. KIN, CSCS and works professionally with OHL Hamilton BullDogs and the CFL Hamilton Tigercats. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, fostering animals, playings sports and spending time with family and his dog

MATTHEW NELMS

Co-Founder

Matthew Nelms graduated in 2017 from Queen's University with an Honours Bachelor of Science, Specialization in Kinesiology. Following his undergraduate degree, Matthew completed his Masters of Science at Queen's University in 2019. Currently, Matthew is pursuing his medical education at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine. In his spare time, Matthew enjoys spending time in the outdoors, playing sports, relaxing with friends and family, and cooking delicious meals.

KIMBERLEY KERR

Co-Chair 2019-2020

Kimberley Kerr is graduating from Queen's in 2020 with a Bachelor in Geography.  Kim has been a member of Raise the Bar since 2018 when she joined the finance team.  Being an advocate for all realms of health has always been a focus for Kim.  Whether sharing her own experiences with mental health, or encouraging others to join her in being active, health has always played a large role in her lifestyle.  Kim hopes to attend law school after graduation, and cannot wait to continue to help in the growth of RTB in years to come.

MADELINE CROWLEY

Co-Chair 2019-2020

Madeline Crowley is graduating in 2020 with a Bachelor in Science, specialization in Kinesiology. She has been involved with Raise the Bar since she was in first year. Madeline has loved watching RTB continue to grow and inspire the Queen’s community to become more aware of how all dimensions of health rely on each other. In the future, Madeline hopes to continue pursuing this passion of health and cannot wait to see what is in store for the team this year!
